FlexQoS FlexQoS - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I tried early version (pre 1.0) of cakeQOS but it was worse than Adaptive+FlexQoS. The main reason is my dynamic download speed (LTE connection, upload is somewhat constant at 15-17 Mbps). Maybe I give it another shot.

FlexQoS FlexQoS - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I rewrited my script to more "other human readable" form: or I'm also using AC86U (full setup in signature) and this script is executed via cron every minute.

FlexQoS FlexQoS - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I rewrited my script from the ground and it is working now (with @squidbilly AutoBW part , will see about sluggish connection in few hours). So if I go with restart_qos approach I should restart_firewall also and I assume that restarting those 2 every 1-3 minutes isn't optimal because of other...

FlexQoS FlexQoS - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Firstly: @dave14305 thanks for your great work :) Secondly: Is there a way to reapply qos_ibw and recalculate coresponding values without restarting QOS/Firewall ? My main connection is LTE and download speed vary from 70Mbps to 8Mbps. I frankenstein-ed small script that calculate new download...

spdMerlin spdMerlin - Automated speedtests with graphs

Yes, u can read the values from script, then use nvram set qos_ibw, nvram set qos_obw settings for entering speeds (download and upload) and then restarting qos service (I wrote script for that, but I'm beginner so it is very very ugly :) ) I'm using mobile (LTE) for my main connection ( large...

USB 3 full speed not working

From my home experience: First test speed in FTP ( I get 115MB/s with AC86U (but it has good cpu 2x1,8GHz) and ssd. Back in days when I had AC68U (OC to 2x1,2GHz ) FTP speeds where between 65-75MB/s). If the speed in FTP is as expected then try tuning samba. For me changing SMB2 to SMB1 in...

Hi, Asus support reply when I asked (mid December 2017) about Dual Wan (in load balance mode) with connection with Adaptive QOS and other Tren Micro "stuff": "It is not determined if and when the functionality can be introduced"

    AC86U Transmission installation problems..

@Gingernut To format to ext4 on AC86 you need to use mke2fs -t ext4 /dev/sdx1 not (as I was using on AC68u) mkfs.ext4 /dev/sdx1 Its up to u to choose file system, I use ext4 for 500GB 2,5' HDD (with data) and ext2 for usb stick (with entware). And some scripts frome here...
